An individual’s “buying and giving power” has significantly decreased over the last 20 years, despite the fact that wages have increased over that same time period, relatively speaking. With increased taxation, inflation, lack of higher paying jobs, among other factors, the ability to give has become increasingly more challenging resulting in a very competitive charity sector.

About Our Company

TRUREAL was founded with one prevailing principle in mind: to help charities raise funds efficiently.

Running a charity is a full time endeavour, in and of itself, so there is typically not enough time available to dedicate to fundraising. Regardless, without funds a charity cannot remain viable. To address this problem, charities subcontract with professional fundraising companies. While this approach solves one problem (charities don’t have to invest their time to fundraise), it creates another issue in terms of cash flow. Despite working with professional fundraising companies, charities are still not able to raise enough funds in the long run because a large portion of the funds they do raise are consumed up in fees.

At Trureal, we believe that charities should not have to give up so much of the funds that are raised on their behalf. It is this belief that lead to the creation of our robust fundraising vehicle, the Trureal Loyalty Program (TLP).

Trureal Fundraising Services Inc. provides third party fundraising services to registered Canadian Charities.

Driven by charities and the people that support them, the TLP connects people, charities and merchants together and sets the stage for charitable giving to occur passively and continuously, day in and day out. The program is revolutionary in that it provides everyone – people, merchants and charities alike – with tremendous benefits. Moreover, it provides charities with a fundraising vehicle that requires no upfront cash or capital expenditure. The same applies to merchants. All that’s required for charities and merchants to participate is a little paperwork.

The infrastructure that powers the entire Trureal Loyalty Program (TLP) is handled by our subsidiary IT company, Trureal IT Services, Inc. This infrastructure runs all the moving parts of our loyalty program and it also provides a state-of-the-art back office for everyone in the Trureal Community.


Merchants will have access to:

  1. A personalized dashboard that contains daily, weekly and monthly reports to provide a comprehensive overview of performance within the TLP.
  2. A Social Media platform.
  3. A profile page within the Trureal Directory.


Charities will have access to:

  1. A personalized dashboard that summarizes daily, weekly and monthly donation activity.
  2. A Social Media platform.
  3. A profile page within the Trureal Directory.


Cardholders will have access to:

  1. A personalized dashboard to view total purchases, transactions, tax credits/deductions and donations.
  2. An ability to update and/or change supported charities at any given time.
  3. A Social Media platform.


TruSHOP is an online shopping experience created for those who relish in the simplicity and ease of purchasing their everyday products and needs on line. By offering products from an array of major name brand retailers through their affiliate programs, TruSHOP is able to provide access to millions of products without ever having to leave the comfort of your living room.

TruSHOP is owned by TRUREAL Inc., who owns and operates the Trureal Loyalty Program. Participation in this program not only allows participants a FREE reloadable TRUREAL Card (necessary for online shopping), It also provides a valuable mechanism to support YOUR favourite charity, receive a tax credit/deduction, while never having to take an additional dollar out-of-pocket.

TruSHOP is committed, through the Trureal Loyalty Program, to donate 50% of its affiliate commission (after applicable taxes) to the charity or charities linked to your Trureal card, on your behalf. In the end, our cardholders receive an accumulated tax receipt from their respective charity resulting in a tax refund.
